I can not answer for all Messianics, but I can answer in general. Messianics are Jews and Gentiles that believe that Messiah Jesus died on the Cross for their sins. They believe that Messiah Jesus is GOD the Son. Messianics believe that the Holy Spirit raised Messiah Jesus from the dead on the third day following His crucifixion.
Messianics believe that one steps on to the road of Salvation by GOD’s Grace, when a person repents of their sins. They know that salvation is by Grace, not works. However, after salvation by Grace, they believe that “good works” must follow.
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” NKJ
Messianics believe that included in “good works” are the keeping of the covenant rules for blessings. Such as: giving tithes and offerings, honoring parents, observing the Feasts of the LORD, studying the WORD on Sabbath, giving aid to needy Believers, praying for the sick, etc.
Their theology says WORKS do not obtain salvation, but WORKS do maintain salvation. This point was made by the Apostle James.
James 2:17
“Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” NKJ
We can never work for, or earn salvation. Some think that Salvation Grace means doing nothing for the Kingdom of GOD. But, our rewards in Heaven are for the good works we do for the LORD in this life.
1 Corinthians 3:13-14
13
Each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
14
If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. NKJ
